Yep C-6 rev and the obv is based on C-11 and 13 (same die and it was NOT a crosslet 4 die) but they used an undated hub and punched the date into the die, the date figures are too small and not positioned to match any of the known varieties.
I sent the seller a notice that it was fake and the reasons why listed above. We'll see what he does. He doesn't seem bad, his feedback is pretty good, most of the complaints seem to center around slow arrival of the coins and the shipping method.
I wonder why he chose to remove it if he was so sure it wasn't fake. It's an obvious fake to anyone familiar with Half Cents.
I think he must be like a lot of other ebay coin sellers that don't want to take the time to learn about what they are selling. I hope he doesn't just wait a week or two and list it again.
Probably Coinfrog and I were not the only ones that pointed it out to him and maybe he decided with many people telling him it was fake he should pull it and get it checked. Like I said he seems legitimate and if so he didn't want a fake coming back to bite him
