This was one of my most recent purchases. What do think ICCS gave as a grade? How would you grade it? I'll post ICCS' grade in a few days.

At first glance I thought it was a PL strike, but hard to tell from the photos, so I'll say MS-65

It has been a couple of days, so it is time to give out the grade given by ICCS.

ICCS graded it as MS-64. Everyone was a bit over.

As with the 1939 silver dollar I posted at about the same time, I am certain that better photos might have produced different guesses. It is a nice coin in hand with good lustre also. It does have some very light flecks of toning on the reverse, which the camera didn't pick up when I took the photo.

As I mentioned in the 1939 post, I would like to apologize for the poor photos. I did not have time to post better ones yesterday nor today. If I post a grading topic in the future, I will make sure the photos are better. Lesson learned for me.
