1965 dime sorry about that it look w in WE and the 5 is really light stamped and the ear has a line on the lobe and chin don't look right is this a good find Thanks

Die Deterioration from horrible overuse.

1965 was the cut over from silver to clad and the mint was working 3 shifts to make enough clad coins to replace all the silver in circulation. In fact the law was changed to allow them to not put a mintmark on the coins so they could use all three mints.

Every time a die strikes a coin, there is a tiny, tiny bit of spread from the center outward. Use a die too long and - in addition to poor strikes, mushy details and everything else, the lettering that is closest to the edge starts to touch the edge and have even more loss of detail.
