1994 D Quarter Doubled Die Reverse / DDR Or DDD?

BudLattes New Member United States 37 Posts	Posted 12/07/2020 7:00 pm did? Have 1994 d quarter thats not in the best shape, but certainly not the worst. Found some doubling on arrow feathers, the leaves to the east of them, the left wing, and the UN in unum. Do you all think its Doubled die or Die Deterioration Doubling? Thanks in advance. coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 12/07/2020 9:26 pm Note the areas you are looking at. On the outside of devices is where you find Machine Doubling. It removes the contour on one side of the devices because the machine damages those areas on the coin. On a doubled die, the devices are enlarged, not reduced in size. Note the centers of the devices. You can see the spread there. also the closed devices, the inner areas are reduced in size. Hope this helps. Report this Post to the Staff
