coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 06/28/2021 8:16 pm Keep in mind this was the last year for the swollen master hub on this year. Even Machine Doubling was pushing the devices way out on the rims: The following year the new, new master hub was created. Note how the date and the bust is different on the old/new dies? With that the devices were not pushing into the rims. So these are just the way all of the quarters looked that year. Then factor in the die wear even making stranger looking examples.
