Kind of an important type of coin to miss if you are doing a survey of (affordable) coins type collection like I am. Not to shabby on the details for Roma and the knobby kneed horses pulling the biga, and some nice toning. C. CLAUDIUS PULCHER, AR Denarius, c. 110 BC. O: Helmeted bust of Roma right. Hey bob, the most I've purchased a coin for is 200 USD, I try to run around 50 -150 for most of my ancients. Nothing magic about those numbers, it is just the amount of free cash I have to spend on coins every now and again. The denarius here was 75 dollars. Thanks Ski!
