Extreme PMD and the obverse has been scratched with who knows what. I looks like someone played tic-tac-toe on it. Report this Post to the Staff

ijn1944 Bedrock of the Community United States 19223 Posts	Posted 09/30/2021 06:50 am Looks to me to be a common steel cent example (common for steel cents, that is). Along with the characteristic dull finish, it shows a touch of wear, some rust-through, and unfortunate scratches above the date. I'd say it's a nice hole filler until something better comes along. I'm not seeing strong evidence that it was once 'reprocessed'. Report this Post to the Staff
