Another coin found in my step father's penny collection. Not the best grade, but it seems to have some red to it. Just doesn't look like other red pennies I've read about. What do you think? Pictures are same coin in two different lighting.

Just environmental damage, nothing to do with original mint color. I'd grade this G details (ED).

That reddish-brick like color is not that uncommon with highly circulated wheat cents.

That's not the kind of red we search for . Your coin is suffering from a bad case of environmental damage . My value is 1¢ .
