I am interested in this 1936 PHILIPPINES PESO w/Roosevelt. What do you think of it. Condition, genuine? It is the only picture I have of it.

Could have sea water corrosion.

Just prior to the Japanese invasion of the Philippines,
thousands of them were dumped into Manila Bay, and were recovered after the War.
Interesting story, and worth a read.

Based on the images, it appears to be a sea-salvage coin that was subsequently cleaned. Most collectors would consider it a damaged coin.
