It is a scratch mark that shows the secondary object's contact mark from rim over the 1 onto the bust,not a defect .

If your refering to the line on the president then yes it's a scratch, as for what's going on at 7oclock beside the 1 I. The date I'm not sure, it looks raised and I don't see displaced metal.

Yes, appears to be the result of a lateral hit, moving from the rim, across the base of the neck. Metal 'peel' shaved from rim and moved onto the field--still connected to the rim but peeled back.

Note the incuse mark, metal striation lines from a cut into the coin. Now just a damaged coin. It was a nice coin, but now is a cull.
