Hello, As I'm searching through a pile of pennies due to my new positively healthy addiction of coin hunting, I came across this 1995 Lincoln Cent that has a sort of doubling mostly on the later S in STATES. Also there is something going on with the E in LIBERTY. Any and all help is always awesome to see. Thank you.

I see circulation damage. It is a spender in my opinion.

I agree with john1, the flattened strike on the ATES are the result of die wear.

Two causes.
1. If the metal weight is slightly under the devices on that area will not strike up.

2. Other times it was it is a grease issue.
But note the tops of the devices are showing a raised area? That is showing a rise on those devices. So it may have been an under weight coin example.
