elliottite Valued Member United States 261 Posts	Posted 05/20/2022 02:35 am Hello, As I'm searching through a pile of pennies due to my new positively healthy addiction of coin hunting, I came across this 1995 Lincoln Cent that has a sort of doubling mostly on the later S in STATES. Also there is something going on with the E in LIBERTY. Any and all help is always awesome to see. Thank you. Report this Post to the Staff

coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 05/20/2022 8:16 pm Two causes. 1. If the metal weight is slightly under the devices on that area will not strike up. 2. Other times it was it is a grease issue. But note the tops of the devices are showing a raised area? That is showing a rise on those devices. So it may have been an under weight coin example.
