2003-D Roosevelt dime would this be considered a Doubled ear? I also have a few 2007-D and 2008-D Roosevelt's with some form of doubling I will post pics in the 2008-D thread already open (if that's cool) after I locate and organize my Roosevelt pics.

No, it would not be considered a doubled ear. Such a term would be for a doubled die only, and this is not a doubled die.

Looks like a form of Machine Doubling you could see it on the motto of IN GOD WE TRUST .No doubled die I agree with coppercoins
