1979 Kennedy With Crack On Obv. Planchet Error? + Doubled Die Reverse / DDR ?

outstandingodds New Member United States 15 Posts	Posted 01/08/2023 7:14 pm This 1979 Kennedy half I have shows very little wear at all but a small "crack" between the 9 and 7 of the date. Left side a clear crack, right side is like a scratch or intentional clad cut. Report this Post to the Staff

outstandingodds New Member United States 15 Posts	Posted 01/09/2023 10:30 am The crack looks to be continuous and not two separate sides. If you look closely, their is a small "flap" of metal/lamination that sticks down between what looks like two sides. I'm actually getting what I hope is a better microscope today in the mail that may yield some better photos. Thanks for everyone's thoughts on this so far....I'ma learnin'!
