Kennedy Half - Bicentennial (Mule) With A Rotated Die ! Incorrect Reverse.

Camels4everyone New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 02/26/2023 08:49 am Hi everyone I am a new member to the site and I have a coin that has completely stumped me. I have checked it over and over again and it looks completely legitimate. I Never seen another one like it. It has the regular bicentennial Kennedy half dollar Obverse but on the reverse it has the regular Kennedy back With the eagle which I don't think is correct. It should have the bicentennial reverse. It also has a rotated die that is rotated about 20#65439;or more to the right. If anybody has ever seen one like this or has any insight for me I would really appreciate it. The dull thud they make when dropped also is a dead giveaway. If you want to see if the inside was coated with a Mexican coin or a Brit penny, then put the coin into the bottom of a thick glass and shake the glass, while holding the rim, to separate the two parts. Otherwise you need what is a called a "bang ring" to separate it. I have seen these in aluminum on ebay and also as 3-D printer files that can be downloaded/printed.
