Morgans are a good place to start. For less than $40 you can get a very nice coin that holds its value. The most important thing to look for are original surfaces. That does NOT mean uncirculated, pristine, lustrous examples. AVOID those until you gain more experience assessing coins. I would call it AU details a details coin is a coin that would not receive a straight grade if submitted to a TPG due to myriad of issues. cleaned, post mind damage ( PMD), graffiti etc. Report this Post to the Staff
