1944 Penny - No Mint ; Ordinary Or Unique?

kbbpll Pillar of the Community United States 4233 Posts	Posted 01/09/2024 2:27 pm " no mint" doesn't mean anything, if that's what you're asking about. It only means it was minted in Philadelphia. Other than War Nickels no regular issue US coins had a P mint mark until 1979. Internet charlatans have been promoting this " no mint mark" nonsense for a while, because of a few rare "no S" proof coins. Since you don't specify what you think might be unique about your coin, I thought I should clarify the " no mint" stuff. Report this Post to the Staff
