Hello friends! I am new here. I was going through a box of items from my childhood and found one 1944 penny I collected as a child. Please let me know what you see. I am not an expert and I am looking to learning more about this penny.
" no mint" doesn't mean anything, if that's what you're asking about. It only means it was minted in Philadelphia. Other than War Nickels no regular issue US coins had a P mint mark until 1979. Internet charlatans have been promoting this " no mint mark" nonsense for a while, because of a few rare "no S" proof coins. Since you don't specify what you think might be unique about your coin, I thought I should clarify the " no mint" stuff.
