I found this amongst some modern Tunisian coins in the collection I inherited. Can anyone help identify it. Is it real or maybe a tourist piece?

Hello Windypops

Size, weight and a better photo would assist in the identification.

It appears to be a sestertius of Philip II, RIC 148 (but only if the weight is between 16 to 19 grams). If it is not within these weight parameters, it is likely a fake.

If it is a sestertius, the photo is not good enough to determine if it is a forgery.

Hope these are better photos. Size is 28 mm dia x 3mm thick.I don't have any accurate scales to weigh it.

It purports to be an AE As of the emperor Philip I (AD 244-49)
But it appears to be a cheap knock off casting made of brass
There are some high quality castings that can fool most people
This 'ain't' one of them !
