panzaldi Bedrock of the Community United States 18738 Posts	Posted 04/27/2024 09:11 am lots of glare thump. don't use overhead light. looks like a pretty good hit at the mouth. reverse shows circulation. obv probably does also but can't see it as much die to the glare. looks like some verdigris or something at K5 obv. value...5C btw don't hold a coin like that. in this case no big deal as it wouldnt make a difference Report this Post to the Staff

Those details might not have been struck well due to die wear, but there is a lot of circulation rub here. The coin has been scarred up by many, many little hits. Quite a bit of verdigris or green gunk on the obverse lower right. Definitely a spender, there were over a billion 1964 nickels produced. Report this Post to the Staff
