The first two Danscos of this thread are complete 7070s!
A thirty year journey, but so glad to have done it.

Here's some very blurry pics of a very incomplete Dansco 7070. I thought I had those uploaded to CCF but apparently not...

Starting with pages 1 and 2 (out of 10).

I think I might have added a few more coins between May 2021 (when I took those pics) and August 2022 (the most recent time I saw that album), but if so I don't seem to have taken any more pics.

Pages 3 and 4, covering the nickels and dimes. A little more filled up in here - the nickel row is complete...

Pages 5 and 6, the quarters and some of the halves. I didn't have any of the Seated Liberties but did have a lot of the later types.

Pages 7 and 8, the remaining halves and the dollars. I suspect that even if I stayed in Moscow, those two Seated Liberty dollar holes would have remained empty for decades.

Pages 9 and 10 - the modern stuff and some more commemoratives. I did have an ASE but it was in a separate holder; I'm not sure when or how I'd have came across one in bad enough condition to put in an album!

Not bad at all, especially for being overseas!

I said that the nickel row was complete but it was actually missing the regular Jefferson nickel I probably thought I had too many of those and couldn't choose a single deserving example to put into the album...
(Now that I look at the photos more carefully, I see that my 1866-67 Shield nickel with rays was also not in the album; I definitely had the coin by then but must have been storing it elsewhere. I think I had probably put it into the album before August '22, though.)

I see that the clad Roosevelt dime is also missing, probably for the same reason as the Jefferson.

Several other holes (offhand at least the Barber dime and the Sacagawea dollar ones, but I think probably a few more) were waiting for specific coins that I was supposed to have somewhere at home but had misplaced many years ago. I don't think I've managed to find any of them by 2022 except maybe the Sac dollar.

Very nice College! Great start!

(a helpful hint when taking photos of album pages with open holes - I will place a piece of paper under the page I'm imaging, so the others don't show up.)
Sometimes it makes them present a bit better.

I used white paper, but I think that a black cloth would look even better (something I may try tomorrow)

Here's my 7070. I've filled all the harder slots. I have all my classic commems in 2x2s together elsewhere. I also inserted the last page of the intercept shield type set because it included more of the modern types. I'm pretty happy with it!

That's a fantastic set, jason! What a way to end Day 1! The addition of a 6th page is nice. The 7070 could really use a 21st century update.

Thank you, Dearborn! That's a great idea. It was bothering me that I could see the holes behind each page.

Day 2 of the 7070 has begun! Who's next?
