I have a few of these nickels but this one stood out from the others and seems to be more of a bronze color. CoinSnap mentions 2 separate errors, one struck on brass and one on a copper nickel.
Could this be either of those?
Thanks in advance.

It is quite common for War Nickels to tone in various shades of light gold and brassy yellow-copper. The 35% silver alloy contains manganese and is mostly copper. If left to tone all the way, it will develop a dull, dark greenish-gray patina.

I have never heard of a brass or copper nickel, aside from coins accidentally struck on a cent planchet. Those are very obvious when you see them, and rare as hen's teeth.

Yes, a typical toned War Nickel is what you have.
