Licinius II was the son of Licinius I, brother-in-law to Constantine the Great and for a time co-emperor. The younger Licinius, while made Caesar, never ruled, having been executed by Constantine a couple years after his father had likewise been disposed of.

This is an especially well centered strike on a particularly regular flan. It seems very similar to both RIC VII 107 and 119 (Thessalonica). but may not be precisely either.

Sorry for this very late reply....I just saw this post. Your coin is Thessalonica 119. You can tell because there is a star at the top of the wreath.

here is an example I have with a pretty clear star
