I would be grateful if somebody could shed worthwhile light on the pictured Greek, Macedon silver drachma, depicting, on the reverse, Zeus Aetophoros seated with an eagle perched on his outstretched right hand and with Demeter standing with possibly her arms raised over her head. I particularly would like to know the variety of the coin as I have never come across it before. Thanks

Seems like a good match for this coin on numista:

Did you have a specific question?

I particularly would like to know the variety of the coin as I have never come across it before. The variety I have appears to be the goddess Demeter standing with possibly her arms raised over her head. It's definitely not this coin https://en.numista.com/247239

@frank, ok yes thank you for clarifying. I see that in your example, Demeter's arms are perpendicular to her body, whereas in the numista example, her arms are slanted downward. Someone more versed than I am with Greek coins will have to weigh in on whether there is anything of significance to this. In looking on acsearch, I'm seeing at least one example that has those perpendicular arms. Here is a link to what might be your exact coin:

https://www.acsearch.info/search.html?id=5076484

The description reads:

Quote:
KINGS of MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great'. 336-323 BC. AR Drachm (16.5mm, 4.29 g, 12h). Lampsakos mint. Struck under Kalas or Demarchos, circa 328/5-323 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aėtophoros seated left; in left field, Demeter standing facing holding torch in each hand. Price 1351; ADM II Series V. Near EF, lustrous, obverse struck with worn die. Very rare, six in Pella (including the four noted in ADM), two in CoinArchives.

It is this very coin https://cngcoins.com/Coin.aspx?CoinID=361025 , which once sold through CNG in 2018, but I don't know whether their identification is entirely accurate. This part of CNG's description "...Demeter standing facing holding torch in each hand..." is incorrect. It is true of this variety https://en.numista.com/247239 but not mine. Plus there are other notable differences (on the reverse).
