Here's a package returned to me in October, after more than 4 years of postal limbo. In defense of the USPS, the person had moved; but still a long time until it was finally returned to sender. I highlighted the date- 06/18/2021 the coin-- Maxentius A.D. 308- 310 23x25mm 6.3g IMP C MAXENTIVS P F AVG, laureate head right. CONSERV VRB SVAE, Roma seated in hexastyle temple holding globe and sceptre, wreath in pediment, Victories with garlands as acroteria. In ex. RBQ RIC VI Rome 210

4 years? Yikes! After that long, I'm a bit surprised that it came back at all.

Quote: Did you collect on the insurance? An insurance claim was never filed because I never knew that this coin was not delivered. The customer had moved and probably forgot that he had ordered a coin. I refunded him when the package was returned to me.

Victor, I wanted to add that I once bought a coin on ebay and the seller accidentally included an extra, fairly expensive coin. When I told him, he was very thankful and said he had been looking for it. He offered me a free coin if I sent it back, and I even paid for the shipping. He never followed through . Your refund was a classy thing to do — I'm glad to see that some of us still have integrity!
