I found this 2017p and it looked a little off at a glance. I know the 2017p is uncommon but it looks to me like it's missing a portion of the lower rim and Lincoln's torso is also weak. On the reverse, the rim and the O in OF is weak and there is a slight bulge next to the rim on the shield. Am I just wishing for the errors or are they actually good errors.

There is nothing on that cent that would classed as an error. About 99% of anomolies are just that, not an error. To learn what a genuine error is go to error-ref.com
I could be wrong but think you may have something here, the rim is very odd looking. I looked through Error-Ref but did not find anything that suited me. Maybe some sort of collar issue?
There is a weird slope to the right side of the rim on both sides. Almost like the proto-rim didn't get formed into a proper rim. Is that twisty part real, or is it just a camera perspective artifact? I think an image of the edge might be useful.
