coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 10/10/2009 04:59 am Die Gouge. If it were a die crack it would not run straight. Crack vary in directions. The outside edge of the die is the fields. The devices are down into the die (deeper). With the gouge on the outside the die, it could flow past a device without altering the device. That is what you have. Here is a pair of small die cracks. Note the irregular lines they show: Would I save it? Yes, for educational purposes. The coin appears to be BU and that is a second reason to save it. I hope you don't mind I saved the image for educational further teaching purposes.
