No disrespect to the blast white guys. If I could have only one of your coins, I might choose the toner. The 74 (S) is a stunner, but DCAMs are meant to be stunners in the first place. ilikeikes Pillar of the Community United States 1205 Posts	Posted 01/25/2015 5:25 pm Speaking of TONERS..cool find at the local coin shop, found wrapped in original plastic sleeve..my jaw dropped hard...GOLDEN Champagne color 71-S BS 40% Silver IKE...in hand, this has the same golden color as the bag toned 76's I have seen...if not for being wrapped, I would have thought maybe gold-plated. The toning is to die for. May be something in the original planchet that caused the reaction, like, an impurity. Since the collar and reeds are blast white, I'll stick to that theory for now. Very nice acquisition! I have yet to get a silver proof with golden toning like that. However, I have a 1978 clad that looks like this. It is VERY gold in color.
