In the shot by Wild Bill of the 72-S of the
IGWT does anyone else see the split serifs
on the bottom right of the "N" and the
top left of the "R" and "U"

Definitely different.

The first pic the are looks notched, but your second pic is not showing it.

What about the U? Looks like there might be slight notching.
