1980 Wide 0 10 Cent?

I've just gone through my 84 examples of 1980 dimes that I had stockpiled, and they're all Wide 0. I suspect the higher price for mint state Wide 0 examples, as given by Charlton, is because they are harder to find at that condition than the Narrow 0 dimes. Charlton also suggests there should be Narrow 0 examples that circulated...

I agree with laconic's post about the shape of the 8 being the most obvious distinguishing feature, followed next by the "curl" of the 9. Below is a shot of the Narrow 0 example found in my prestige specimen set, and a Wide 0 from circulation:
