JMerrick Valued Member Guatemala 357 Posts	Posted 01/30/2011 6:05 pm There is no real way to clean a banknote, and given the fairly heavy circulation of your note, doing anything to it, beyond placing it in a PVC holder to protect it, would likely destroy it. If you do put it in a holder, do so very, very carefully. There are at least 3 serious stress points from the folds visible in the pictures, and they are definitely ready to tear apart. The only safe way to clean a banknote (if at all feasible) is to use a professional conservator and that would cost a lot more than most notes are worth. Report this Post to the Staff
