Hi vartain and welcome.
Unfortunately you'd be right to be worried if they all have the same serial number.
Any chance of pics? Do they have a metallic security thread and watermark (Queen Elizabeth)?

I'm sorry but I do not have a scanner at the moment so no pictures but will have some up within a week or so. Where would the watermark be? I am not familiar with english notes as I am mainly an Australian coin/note collector. But there is a dotted line where the strip is meant to be but cant see the full strip in the light or anything like people say. You can tell one or two is worse then the others with some colours being too yellow or too pink then others.

The watermark should be in the oval to the left of the Queen's chin. The metallic security thread should appear segmented on the surface but solid when held up to a light. Also with the colour variations you describe it sounds like they are copies (perhaps photocopies from a scanned image) and poor ones at that.
Ah well, live and learn.

Yeah it is seperated lines on surface but no full line under light. And there is no watermark that I can see. Only one has the colour issues but the rest are exactly the same as a real 50 pound note

How and where did you come across them? Did you purchase them? Exchange for them?

Most countries except the US are skeptical of accepting anything more then a $20 and most businesses won't. That's why when I get currency exchanged for a trip, I make sure to never get anything over a 20. Too many fakes out there.
