mespe New Member United States 35 Posts	Posted 04/15/2011 07:45 am OK I admit, I separate my coins, copper pennies and nickels in one coffee can, quarters, dimes, and zinc in another, and yes I check for silver dimes. While checking for silver dimes, I came across this beauty,,, would you call this an off-center, or a double strike? Report this Post to the Staff

It was very common for nickels of the same era as well. EDIT: Actually I think I see what you're talking about now. It looks like the die was also slightly mis-aligned. Very common.
