For all you FE experts: What would be the minimum amount of money I would expect to spend to get a FE cent that had at least a minimal amount of luster to it?

First, I'm no FE expert, but I do love them and I tend to pay attention to them.

Normally, "minimal luster" is normally EF - AU. With FE's though, it's really hard to find a coin with any luster that's anything less than a 53 or 55. I'd say if you could get one in today's market for under $250, you'd do well. I'd expect to pay $200 at least, and that's if I got a REALLY good deal. At a coin shop or through a reputable auction house, I'd expect to pay $3-500 depending on eye appeal - which should be pretty high for that price!

Now, let's see what the real FE experts say! =)
