The only example of a denarius with this reverse I can find does not have the same obverse legend and is listed in RIC vol 1 #47. It could be an unlisted type. I see what looks like some dark areas on the obverse which could be bronze under the silver. This might be a fouree.

I also suspect that it is a fouree.

A "fouree", which is what this coin appears to be, is a type of circulating counterfeit ancient coin, made back in ancient times. It was made by wrapping a layer of silver around a blank copper or brass slug, then striking the "sandwich" with hand-made fake dies - or perhaps with genuine coin dies that have been "borrowed" from the mint workshop. The odd "cracks" around the reverse certainly look like a layer of foil that's peeling away.

Fourees are antique artefacts in their own right and certainly collectable, though I have no idea what they sell for these days.
