Like sending on emails that aren't true, it's best to check things first. I'm not trying to bust your chops, but everything posted on the Internet is saved forever, and there's no sense making statements that will confuse future collectors.

well, I'm really glad I read this conversation because I believed the same as smokeriderdon... this clarifies it now: the 1996-W was the first business strike coin to carry the W mintmark... not the first business strike coin to be pressed there.

What part of I was not making a statement of fact do you not get? If I said you are all wrong it was only the 96 dimes, then your statements would be valid. However that is clearly NOT what I said therefor making your statements simply you being snarky.

Speck, yeah, that was my point. I always thought it was just the dimes. Never knew about the pennies or quarters.
