I just got back from Reningers, an antique mall located in Berks County, PA. I managed to acquire quite a few nice coins whilst moving through the vendors displays. How did I do?

Walking Liberty half - $9.00
1918 Mercury dime - $3.00
1928 Mercury dime - $3.00
1942 P Jefferson nickel - $1.00
1945 D Jefferson nickel - $1.00
1937 S Washington quarter - $7.00
1962 Canada Silver Dollar - $10.00
Lot of 3 foreign coins including a Canadian large cent dated 1859, French cino centimes dated 1862, and a Spanish diez centimos dated 1877 - all for $2.00

With out seeing the coins (grades/condition) it would be hard to tell
how good of deal it is.

But based on just silver value .. some of those coins sound like a
very good deal to me.

Sweet! I too just returned from an antique shop where they the following proof/mint sets for sale. 65 SMS, 66 SMS, 68 proof, and 69, proof. All for the low, low price of $30 each. Needless to say they still had them when I left the shop. A guy was leaving as I was going in happy with his purchase of a 1973 mint set for $28. I just need to move somewhere else.

Wow you got a steal on that Canadian silver dollar, currently melt price is $20.59 for a silver dollar, I'd head back and see if he has more

Also check the 1859 large cent for varieties there are a LOT of varieties for that year some quite rare.....

Here is a scan of the coins. Sorry for the poor quality! Anyways, The WL is a 1920 plain in AG-G condition. I would grade the 1918 Merc somewhere in the AG-G range. As for the '28 Merc, I would say VG-F and the '37 quarter F-VF. The '62 Canadian dollar is a solid XF-45, IMHO.
