Nothing special she said, but I was glad anyway. So on vacation this week, she remembered to bring them and I was glad at what I found! 2 Standing Liberty quarters, dateless but still cool 4 common date mercs 2 dateless buffs- I'll have to soak them in vinegar 3 wheat cents, the oldest being a 1917 not to shabby, if I may say so myself! Freedom Pillar of the Community United States 526 Posts	Posted 07/22/2011 08:27 am Is the left breast on the lady showing or draped with cloth. If naked, it is a Type 1, the other is a type 2. I believe 1917 was the year they changed over because of the puritans complaining about a bare breast showing on the coins. Report this Post to the Staff
oih82w8 Pillar of the Community United States 7840 Posts	Posted 07/22/2011 09:31 am Big difference between Type I and Type II; the stars on the reverse, Type I has no stars underneath the eagle, Type II has three stars underneath.
