2005 Bison Nickel Filled "g" Error?

matthewfriez New Member United States 3 Posts	Posted 08/25/2011 3:28 pm Has this error been found? Is it common? Is it valuable? (filled "G" in "GOD" These coins came straight out of two rolls (from a case I have) that are marked Uncirculated Philidelphia mint. I would add pictures but I cant figure out how to make the files small enough. You can make out the G but the entire inside of the G iss filled. I have two nickels like this and a handfull of them with the O filled in on them. Report this Post to the Staff

The grease can sometimes get into interesting places on the die and when struck, the coin can be missing letters or features, but these are pretty common and aren't really valuable.
