I got a dime with a small hump on the "M". Is it commom?

Can't determine anything without a pic or at least a better description. More than likely it is just a die chip, but more info would be needed to make a definitive determination.

A small hump on a letter is probably a die chip or crack - nothing really to get excited about if that's what it is. Of course a photo would be necessary to tell for sure.
