Nice bands but, I don't think they would FB.

It looks like the RPM goes North to me.

I'm struggling with the picture a little bit, it's a bit too bright to discern any possible wear. Any where from AU-55 to MS-65FB, but probably closer to the latter. However the shine of an untoned silver coin in this picture could be covering up wear on the pillar or face, I can't conclusively tell.

Looks like MS64 or MS65, maybe better, but it's hard to tell from the pictures. You're right, no FB. '44-D is typically well struck, so it's not going to be graded on a curve like a '45 or something. Still a nice looking dime, no peripheral weakness and lots of cartwheel luster. I can't say on the RPM.

I agree that this looks like MS-64 or 65. This coin would probably just miss the FB designation.

Larry,

Its definitely difficult to photograph BU coins. I have to lower the aperture to get better results, I can see carbon small spots by AM, if those are carbon spots.

I lighten the MM of the last picture and enhanced slightly, possibly something there, but also be a worn punch giving the impression that's a RPM. Would need better quality picture.

I blew the m/m area off and tried for a few more shots. I don't know where I thought I saw an RPM.

This microscope isn't very good. I need a good camera.
