Hi, has anyone seen a Colombian Half Dollar with what looks to be a Cud error? As you can see there are two rather large Cuds on the left and the right of the reverse. I know this is an old worn coin, but I think the picture shows it clearly enough. Keen for some feedback, thanks :)

This coin is only worth silver value, unfortunately. Pity.

Those ' Cud' errors are where mounts have been filed off.

I have a few coins like this one myself. Interesting to keep, but that is barely just about all.

looks like at one time it was a belt buckle or a pin.

It is probably the remnants of an original mounting from the Columbian Exposition. A shame it was removed, it would be worth more as a pin than a melt value coin.

What a shame indeed. Do you know if this coin is worth anything at all?
