$11.00 at the grocery store. The total was $10.51 and I tendered $11.00 in halves. He rounded the $10.51 down to $10.50 but then had to give me two quarters in change. I told him I would really like to have the 49 cents instead so he gave me an extra nickel. I said that didn't make any sense and gave it back. I told him I just wanted to get some pennies. He then just gifted to me all the pennies in his drawer. There were only four. He then explained, "The whole world doesn't make sense anymore."
$24,048.00 to go.
