And while pretty much everybody here will be able to figure out what Gent is, hehe, the French inscription Gand is a little confusing indeed. Here http://www.geoverbanck.be/munten.htm is an article in Dutch (and a quote from a letter in French) about Geo Verbanck and those emergency/occupation issues.
