This set was linked on another forum and it's worth a look. The most unbelievable collection of Morgans. The 1893-S is a MS67 and the 1893-O a MS66PL! Top Pops all over the place, it's nuts really........enjoy.

Even though there isn't a 1895-P, still great coins to over.

An Amazing Set

I'm not a huge fan of the toning on the '85-CC.

2 quick questions. Why is it 100% complete if there is no 95-P.

Secondly, what is the Pop category? (I don't know much about Morgans.)
This is incredible! I couldn't imagine a set this gorgeous. 66.38 is amazing.

The 1895-P is a proof issue and this is set of business strikes.

What an unbelievable set!

You know what's odd? There are nine MS-69 Morgans, and none of them are in this set. I bet the 1893-S cost more than any of those 9 except the Jack Lee 1896-S.

I wouldnt doubt that for a second. PCGS doesn't even have any MS 66s for the 93 S.

It could actually be more than the 96 S too, The Jack Lee 96 S got 400k in 2005 and an NGC 93 S 67 got 546k in 2011. Price guide wise anyway PCGS believes the 93 S 67 to be more valuable than the 96 S 69 by almost double.

The 93 O or 98 O are probably my favorites though

That '93-S is one of the most important morgans ever.

I'd be happy with that '98-O. 68DMPL... a man can dream.

I posted that from lunch at work. Got me to thinking to myself, "Hmmm. Which of those two would I pay more for?"

I bluescreened. Divide by Zero (contents of my wallet) error.

I noticed that as well, when I looked through the set. I was specifically looking for a MS-69.

Good stinkin' grief. Anyone want to take a guess as to what this collection cost? Several million? I would think so.
