loose54 Valued Member United Kingdom 51 Posts	Posted 08/14/2014 10:22 am Hello all, I recently purchased this 1868 8 reales as part of a bulk lot at auction. It is the correct weight and I think it is genuine but this isn't my field of speciality as I usually go for British coins.. Does anyone have an opinion on the matter? Contemporary counterfeits are almost always off as far as weight goes. I don't see anything that screams "fake" from your photos. Culiacan mint if you didn't know, this issue not a rarity in the series, pretty nice condition, high VF to low XF, I'd judge.
