I just got this one. It's a rare 1934 D series five dollar note from Atlanta Georgia. I heard these are rare but I want to know more about it, like the printing numbers a typical value. Thanks in advance.

9,599,352 notes printed for the 34-D $5 from Atlanta

The only currency book I own is an old copy of A Guide Book of United States Paper Money by the Friedbergs from 2005. In there the lowest grade listed is VF with a price of $300.

Yours I'd grade as Fine.

There's one listed on ebay in Fine priced at $118 with no takers but 2 people are watching that note.

Barely Fine, if that. Looks kind of tatttered. Interesting pick-up, but it might be a tough sell.
