2013-P Nickel - Radial Die Crack? - Coin Community Forum

There is a raised area above the steps on the right. Note the light is on the top part of that area from the right. That tells me this is raised. Report this Post to the Staff
SlyCynic Valued Member United States 54 Posts	Posted 03/12/2016 5:32 pm I see what you're saying about the light, but the light source appears to be directly above the area in question, casting shadows to the left and to the right (note the shadows in the trench from the rim support that, I think). It could very well be raised, but the shadows cast from the trench below the FS makes me wonder. That's the main reason it looked like it could be incuse to me. But, of course, maybe that part of the die crack ends there? Then again, maybe I'm not seeing shadows in the trenches... but rather just dark trenches. Someone needs to invent cheap 3-D imaging. So - assuming it's raised - would you say it's a die crack, Coop? Report this Post to the Staff
