1984-D Doubled Die Obverse / DDO Or Machine Doubling?

coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 12/13/2016 09:51 am Business strike coins are only struck once. The images are too close to tell what is going on for me. You need 3-5 images per shot. (Motto devices broke down to 'GOD' or 'TRUST' will give us a better picture of what is going on) The wider shot will tell me if the devices are reduced or enlarged. It will also show if it is a pattern direction (hub doubling) or a reduced size of the device. (Machine damaged after the strike) Machine damage will vary from device to device. Hub doubling will show a consistent spread. Report this Post to the Staff

It could be a doubled die with Mechanical Doubling as well. That happens sometimes. Waiting for more images.... Report this Post to the Staff
