Was going through some change and I found these. First one is missing the 4th number in the date.   Next one is missing the o in of america also the f is almost gone.   And the last is a quarter with something going on

@shaberu, your first two coins most likely were struck with grease-filled dies. However, not enough of the design elements are missing that there is a premium for them. For the third coin, you didn't specify what you thought was "going on" with this coin, but it looks to me that other than normal circulation wear and tear, the mintmark is filled (from a broken post on the die). As with the other two coin, this is interesting, but not valuable as this happens pretty often.

My bad with the discrimination and I thought they may be greased but the quarter the in is actually completely connected not like normal wear also the R in trust is also filled

Yes, the post in the die for the letter R may also have broken off--it is a little hard to tell from your pic. The flattening and subsequent connection of the letters I and N could be from a well-placed hit that has now been smoothed over.

Here is a better photo of the in god we trust if it is just smoothed over I find it odd nothing else is.

well I was going through more coins and I actually found a second 1982 D quarter with the same issues with the D and the In god we trust.

Late die state, deterioration both cause letters to become attached, larger and closed to rim.
