I acquired the coin as part of a cheap collection I bought in New Zealand. The entire collection cost less than this coin is probably worth so it turned out to be a good deal:) Report this Post to the Staff

biokemist6 Bedrock of the Community United States 12437 Posts	Posted 01/11/2010 10:33 pm Very nice I would grade it VF-30 It has the second lowest mintage of the Barber dime series but value-wise, it is just under semi-key status. There are a number of other coins with mintages of less than 1 million that are worth considerably more although, IMO, the 1913-S is a bit undervalued and is not an easy coin to find above F-12. I paid NZ$150 for the entire collection and I have found some interesting coins in it.
