Agreed, an expensive date worth counterfeiting. Surfaces look granular and details are too blunt. It looks a bit like Seawater Effect corrosion but counterfeit seems most likely. I'd insist on a slabbed example (or a solid guarantee) on this date to ensure authenticity.
It does look a little bit grainy and may have been cleaned. This would be a date that I would generally stick to slabbed examples. I would only buy it raw only if I were sure that I could authenticate it.
This is a $1500+ coin if it were "original surfaces, as minted."
The photos are waaaaaay too small to form any concrete opinions. In them, the lettering looks too chunky and irregular. The date location *seems* a little too right for most, and a little too left for the one known "far date" variety. No opinion whatsoever can be rendered regarding surface originality.
